A lil' Life Update
Hi friends! Finally getting back on here after a longgg 1.5 month break. I thought you all might like a little update, since I have been MIA.
First things first… WE MOVED. Yes… again. For those of you that know me, you know we just bought a new house in Conway and moved last November. Seven months later, here we are moving again. We LOVED our home in Conway. We lived on nearly two acres in a gated community. It was quiet, and so so peaceful with the sweetest neighbors. The only problem was - it was so. far. out. Kooper works in Little Rock and North Little Rock. So with that being the case, it was a 45 minute drive one way for him to get to work each day. Working in surgery means he has to be there bright and early in the mornings, and being on call was stressful to him because when he would get called in, he was up against a clock to get there on time. So, we found the most perfect house for us in Little Rock that is closer to where Kooper works each day. I can’t wait to share pics of our new space as we decorate it and continue to get our furniture in!
As we did not know we would be moving again, we booked a beach trip for the beginning of August, then we found THE house and the closing date was set for two days after we were to return from the beach. Talk about stressful. We tried to pack as much as we could before leaving but still had a lot to do. Two days before we were set to come home, I felt overwhelming anxiety - almost full panic attack. I had a quota to hit at work before the month ended, I had a house to pack up, and I had to move. I was telling my parents and Kooper how I was feeling and my mom VOLUNTEERED to leave our trip early so that we could get back and have more time to make sure we were ready for the week ahead. ….. taking a moment to acknowledge what a true angel she is. We packed up and left that same afternoon, which was 100% the right call. We were able to fully pack up our house and get moved. It made the process a lot less stressful, so thankful for parents that would do anything for me!
^^^ our pretty front yard. Can’t wait to see what kind of house they build for our neighbors across the street! :). I didn’t want to post a pic from the front porch just yet, because my fall porch is a work in progress - pics to come soon!
Allll of this to say, I am back at it with more content coming your way! I have several yummy recipes lined up to post throughout the rest of this month, I have the next few “book of the month” posts ready to go, and will have a lot of great fall content on it’s way soon (already burning pumpkin candles around here, so ready to decorate). All outfits pictured in this post will be linked below!
Is there anything specific you are looking for this fall? If so let me know in the comments! Thanks for being patient with me during this transition.
